Thank you for choosing Connors Pediatric Dentistry as your child's dental healthcare provider. Below you will find our office policies that have been put in place to provide quality dental care to you and your family in a timely and efficient manner. We aim for full transparency with our methods, any questions can be answered through our 'new patient inquiry' form under the 'contact' tab, or by calling our office.
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Without a 24 hour notice your appointment will be considered missed, and a $50 fee would be assessed. We are aware unforeseen events may require missing an appointment. Out of courtesy to all our patients, if a third scheduled appointment is missed, we will regrettably dismiss you from the practice.
For late arrival to your scheduled appointment a 5 minute grace period will be permitted for unanticipated delays. If a patient is more that 5 minutes late, the patient will be given the option of either being seen as a walk-in at the next available appointment time, if the schedule permits it, or rescheduling for another date.
We have reserved the morning appointments (8:30-11:30) for those patients who are the age of 7 and under and those with dental anxiety.
We accept new patients up to the age of 12. We offer continuing care until the patient's needs change and require a general dentist.
Parents are allowed in all treatment areas. In order for patients to connect with us and follow our detailed instructions, we ask that parents act as silent participants. We use technical terms that are child friendly and have proven to be effective with children.
Patients who have not received treatment in 2+ years are subject to dismissal from our office under the assumption the patient is being provided care elsewhere.
The use of cell phones and cameras is strictly prohibited in all treatment areas to protect the privacy of all our patients.
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits, but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts and multitude of plans. We always recommend contacting your insurance provider before scheduling your child's first visit to be sure our office is in network with your specific plan. As a service to our patients we will bill insurance at the time of service and allow 45 days to to render payment. Payment plans are always available for services not covered or partially covered by insurance. Unpaid balances over 90 days old will be subject to collections. If payment is delinquent, the patient or responsible party will be responsible for payment of collection, attorney fees, and court costs associated with the recovery of the monies due on the account.
